The Managerial and Organizational Cognition Division (MOC) invites symposium and paper submissions for the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management. The conference will be a hybrid format with a virtual meeting from August 4-10, 2022, and an in-person meeting in Seattle, WA from August 5-9, 2022. MOC is aiming to have most of the papers and symposia (about 70%) presented at the in-person meeting.
We are especially interested in encouraging innovative symposium submissions as they provide attendees the opportunity explore the connections between papers around a common theme, theory, issue, or question. The MOC division encourages symposia and paper submissions from scholars in all career phases, including doctoral students, and celebrates cross-level theorizing, methodological diversity, and linkages between theory and practice. We also encourage scholars to think about this year's Academy theme, "Creating a Better World Together", when preparing their submissions. If you have questions about the appropriateness of your submission for MOC, please feel free to contact the Program Chair, Teresa Cardador at email@example.com. Submission Center opens on December 2, 2021. The Submission Center closes on January 11, 2022 at 17:00 (5 pm) ET (NY Time). The Submission Center link is: https://submit.aom.org/
Reviewing for MOC: The MOC community consistently provides high quality, developmental feedback to submitters. In order to continue this, we need your support. Please sign up to review for the MOC division! Your reviewer assignment will be based on the keywords that you indicate to be your areas of expertise. We are grateful for your willingness to volunteer and contribute to the program in this important way. To help you, we will provide reviewers with helpful guidance to complete a review of a conference paper, symposium, or PDW. Best reviewers will be selected for recognition based on author feedback and reviews. Sign up to review at: https://reviewer.aom.org/
