Outstanding Paper on Diversity and Cognition

The Phillips and Nadkarni Award for Outstanding Paper on Diversity and Cognition

This award will be given annually starting in 2021 to the author(s) of the best paper at the intersection of diversity and cognition submitted to the Annual Academy of Management Meeting. It honors the boundary-spanning inspirational work of the late Dr. Katherine W. Phillips who pioneered research on the benefits of diversity in the workplace and the late Dr. Sucheta S. Nadkarni who pioneered research on gender diversity and strategic leadership.  Paper author(s) will be able to self-nominate beginning in the Fall of 2020 to be considered for this award in addition to other MOC-sponsored awards via the AOM submissions portal.  Consideration for the Phillips and Nadkarni award does not preclude consideration for other MOC-sponsored awards.
