**Apologies for cross-postings**
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the organizers and supporters, I would like to invite you to join us for the caucus, "Explaining Leader-Member Exchange Convergence (or the lack thereof!)".
When: Tuesday, August 10 from 11:30AM - 1:00PM
Where: Le Palais Des Congres, 522B
Leader-member exchange (LMX) convergence refers to the notion that, contrary to current theory, most research investigating the relationship between supervisor and subordinate has found only a modest relationship between subordinate-rated and supervisor-rated perceptions of LMX. The purpose of this caucus is to gather those with an interest in this topic to discuss the evidence, implications, and possible factors relating to the poor convergence between subordinate and supervisor perspectives of LMX. The goals of this session are: (1) discuss the current theory and evidence regarding LMX convergence, (2) develop and share ideas for future research, and (3) explore specific studies and possible methodological approaches to pursue our most promising ideas.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me (ghrivnak@bond.edu.au). We look forward to seeing you in Montreal!
