Greetings,
If you have previously reviewed MOC division papers for the Academy of Management National Meetings, you might have already seen a similar request.
On the other hand, if your e-mail address changed from last year and/or if you have never availed yourself of the opportunity to review papers for the Division, read on . . .
The Academy of Management announced yesterday that the Centralized Reviewer System is now open for reviewer signups. You can access the system at http://review.aomonline.org. In case you missed Jim Walsh's Academy-wide announcement about the reviewing process for the Meetings, I have posted it at the end of this note.
As you probably know, the Centralized Reviewer System has many benefits that translate into easier signup, retrieval, and return of reviews. Among other things, it offers a one-stop mechanism for signing up across all Academy divisions.
The MOC Division attracts many submissions each year, and as a reviewer you play a crucial role in helping to transform these submissions into the high quality program you have come to expect from MOC. We need reviewers across a wide range of topics and methods listed at the website. Depending on the number of reviewers who register, you will probably be asked to review three (and no more than) 5 submissions between January 15th and February 13th, 2008. Please check your schedule to make sure that you will be able to take part in the reviewing process during this time period. I do hope you'll decide to serve as a reviewer for the MOC Division. Believe me, there is no better way to beat the mid-winter blahs (at least in the northern hemisphere) than curling up next to the fire with a few MOC Division papers to read and review. Sounds inviting, doesn't it? And don't keep this opportunity to yourself. If you know colleagues and/or PhD students who might like to review for the Division, please free to pass this message on to them.
I want to thank you in advance for your contributions to the MOC Division of the Academy and to making our program in Anaheim the best it can be. Think about it!

FROM JIM WALSH, 2008 ACADEMY PROGRAM CHAIR:
The Academy is recruiting reviewers for its 2008 Annual Meeting Program.
If you are interested in being a part of the review process, we highly encourage you to sign up as a volunteer reviewer for the divisions or interest groups in which you are a member, planning to submit to, or are interested in. Divisions and Interest Groups will also be following up with those of you who have reviewed in the past. Please note that even if you have reviewed in the past, you still need to re-sign up for the 2008 Annual Meeting.
You can sign up to review for up to three divisions and/or interested groups, and you may be asked to review up to three submissions per division or interest group that is selected. So the maximum number of review assignments that you could potentially receive is nine. The review period for the 2008 annual meeting is from January 15, 2008 (Submission Deadline) to February 13, 2008 (Review Deadline). Please check your work schedule to make sure that you will be able to review during this period.
Being a reviewer will add more visibility to you and your institution and give you an opportunity to be more involved in the Academy's program. We hope that you strongly consider reviewing for at least one division or interest group.
To sign up, please visit http://review.aomonline.org and click the "Sign Up Now" button in order to create a profile and choose your areas of expertise (i.e. keywords) for the divisions or interest groups for which you want to review. The sign-up process is fast and easy and should not take longer than 5 minutes.
Thank you in advance for your participation. Without your effort and support, there would not be an Annual Meeting.
Best regards,
James P. Walsh
