Greetings from the MOC Program Chair,
If you have already signed up to review submissions for the 2008 MOC Academy of Management Meeting submissions, thank you very much. This note is not for you.
For those still reading, this is my third (and final) appeal to those of you who might be interested in offering your exceptional reviewing skills in support of the MOC 2008 Program at the Academy of Management National Meetings in Anaheim, CA. I realize that for many of you the beginning of the semester is an incredibly busy time of year. But I want to take just a few of those precious minutes to remind you that you can access the web-based reviewer sign-up system at http://review.aomonline.org. Given that the Academy has limited the number of divisions for which you can review, MOC could use a few more good reviewers. Please consider taking this opportunity to register. It only takes a few minutes, and you'll feel so much better after you do it. The deadline for registering to review is January 15th.
The MOC Division attracts hundreds of submissions each year, and as a reviewer you would play a crucial role in helping to transform these submissions into the high quality program you have come to expect from MOC. We need reviewers across a wide range of topics and methods listed at the website. Depending on the number of reviewers who register, you will probably be asked to review three (and no more than five ) submissions between January 15th and February 13th, 2008. Please check your schedule to make sure that you will be able to take part in the reviewing process during this time period. I do hope you'll decide to serve as a reviewer for the MOC Division this year. In addition, if you know colleagues and/or PhD students who might like to review for the Division but have not done so in the past, please free to pass this message on to them.
I want to thank you in advance for your contributions to the MOC Division and to making our program in Anaheim the best ever. Think about it!
