Greetings from the 2008 MOC Division Program Chair,

While I don't mean to add any undue stress to a time of year that seems to come with plenty of stress already, depending on when you see this message, there will be roughly 235-240 days left until the beginning of the 2008 Academy of Management Annual Meetings in Anaheim, CA, August 8-13, 2008.  This year's conference theme is "The Questions We Ask."

Of more immediate concern to some of you is that there will only by  20-25 days left to the deadline for submissions to the Meeting program. January 15, 2008 is the deadline!  You can find the call for submissions at http://meetings.aomonline.org/2008 with the submission website available at http://submissions.aomonline.org/2008.  If you plan on submitting a paper or symposium proposal to the MOC Division, beat the crowds, reduce your stress, and submit your paper/proposal before the deadline.

To insure that the program building process goes as smoothly as possible, please make sure you follow the submission guidelines carefully.  The Academy has asked Program Chairs to be "quite rigorous" in insuring that submission guidelines have been followed.

You might also consider signing up as a reviewer for the MOC Division if you have not already done so.  Since the Academy has limited the number of  divisions for which a member may review, we could use a few more good reviewers.  You can register to review for the MOC Division at  http://program.aomonline.org/reviewers.

Anaheim should be a tremendous venue for the Meetings, and we certainly want the quality of the MOC program to match the quality of the venue.  Thanks in advance for your contributions to the program.  I look forward to seeing large numbers of you in California.  Please, think about it!  Thanks.

    Dick
