Friday, August 7, 2015 - 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Pinnacle Vancouver Harbourfront Hotel, Cordova Ballroom
Looking for ideas for interactive ways to teach about cognition-related topics (e.g., decision-making, learning, sensemaking, attributions, ethics and moral cognition, biases and intuition, cognition in groups, cognition across cultures, and more) from experienced instructors? Now's your chance.
"Teaching about Cognition (in the Rough)" is a first-time AOM PDW that participants with the opportunity to sit in on rotating, small-group round-tables to hear instructors from four continents share their classroom-tested exercises, activities, and lesson plans for teaching about cognition "in the rough". You will also have a chance to interact with and discuss issues associated with the elusive art of teaching about cognition.
Co-sponsored by the Managerial and Organizational Cognition (MOC) and Management Education and Development (MED) divisions and open to everyone. Bring a friend! For more information, please contact organizer Alex Bolinger at boliale2@isu.edu.
