The Monieson Centre at Queens University School of Business is hosting a
doctoral consortium that may be of interest to Ph.D. students conducting
knowledge management-related research. The Fifth Annual Knowledge Management
Doctoral Consortium will run from November 11-13, 2006 in Kingston, Ontario,
Canada. We are currently accepting submissions from doctoral students in the
early-to-middle phases of their dissertation research; the submission
deadline is June 23, 2006.
The Monieson Centre will cover all expenses related to meals and
accommodation, and will assist with travel expenses for those students
selected as Knowledge Management (KM) Doctoral Consortium participants.
Attendance is by invitation only, and is limited to ten students.
The Consortium provides Ph.D. students with an opportunity to share and
discuss their research with peers and distinguished faculty discussants.
Each year, high calibre students and academics from across North America and
Europe meet to discuss research and exchange ideas. Last years faculty
discussants included Susan Jackson, Rutgers University; Lynne Markus of
Bentley College; Michael Zack of Northeastern University, and Yolande Chan,
of Queens University.
