    Dear POS colleagues,


    We are pleased to announce the 2019 POS Research Conference, designed to share and advance empirical and theoretical research in the field of Positive Organizational Scholarship (POS). This biennial gathering of scholars promotes research that inspires and enables leaders to build high-performing organizations that bring out the best in people.

    The 2019 POS Research Conference will take place on June 5-6, 2019 in Ann Arbor, MI and is presented by the Center for Positive Organizations at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business. It is sponsored in part by the Relational Coordination Research Collaborative at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.

     

    CALL FOR ABSTRACTS:
    SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN


    The 2019 conference program includes a series of 12 research tracks and a visual presentation
    session, each featuring multiple research papers. Scholars are invited to submit a 1-2 page, single-spaced structured abstract of an empirical or theoretical research project for potential presentation at the conference.

    The research tracks will be hosted by content curators, all highly-regarded researchers, including: Joyce Bono, Oana Branzei, Brianna Barker Caza, Amy Colbert, Michelle Duffy, Theresa Glomb, Karen Golden-Biddle, Emily Heaphy, Doug Lepisto, Sally Maitlis, David Mayer, Courtney McCluney, Mandy O'Neill, Beth Schinoff, Erica Steckler, and Monica Worline.

    The tracks are:

    2.      Crafting Positive Identities and Enacting our Best Selves in the New World of Work

    3.      Crafting Meaningful Work

    4.      High Quality Connections and Positive Relationships at Work

    5.      Compassion in Organizations

    8.      Positive Organizations and Sustainability

    9.      Positive Organizational Culture

    10.   Positive Leadership: What We Know for Sure

    11.   Growth and Resilience at Work

    12.   (In)Equity and (In)Justice in Organizations Seeking to Do Good

    2019 OUTSTANDING PUBLISHED ARTICLE AWARD


    At the conference, the Michigan Ross Center for Positive Organizations will present the 2019 Award for Outstanding Published Article, which recognizes research in Positive Organizational
    Scholarship. The recipient will be invited to present the award-winning research at the conference.

    Nominations are invited for research articles published or accepted for publication without
    contingencies between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2018.
