    The Department of Organizational Behavior in the ILR School at Cornell University invites applications for a tenure-track position at either the assistant or associate level, to begin August 2014.  At the time of appointment, applicants must have completed their Ph.D. in organizational behavior, organizational psychology, social psychology, sociology, or related fields, and should have a strong research record and potential for scholarship in fields related to organizational studies.  Faculty members are expected to teach courses at the undergraduate, the professional Master (MILR), and the Ph.D. level. Applications from both macro- and micro-OB scholars are welcome.

     

    Cornell University is a private, Ivy League university located in Ithaca, New York.  The ILR School is the world's leading college focused on work, employment, and workplace relations.  Our mission involves conducting research and teaching on topics relevant to organizational management and employment policy at both national and international levels.  Faculty members in the Department of Organizational Behavior in ILR come from the fields of organizational and social psychology, sociology, and management, and bring a strong disciplinary orientation to their research and teaching.  Members include Sam Bacharach, Marya Besharov, Jack Goncalo, Tove Hammer, Ed Lawler, Brian Rubineau, Bill Sonnenstuhl, Pam Tolbert, Michele Williams, and Emily Zitek.
