Dear all,
I have the great pleasure in inviting you to submit your papers to the new EURAM Organizational Behavior Track - (44): Organizational Behavior: New Frontiers in the 21st Century.
Organizational behavior deals with the study of individual and group behavior in the organizational context. A new frontier of organizational behavior issues is rising with a series of emerging issues facing Europe in the 21st century: immigration and increasing workforce diversity, technological innovation that is radically changing the way we work, the popularity of teamwork, the use of new flexible work arrangements, flatter organizational structures, unemployment and underemployment during a period of economic downturn are rising new topics of organizational behavior and giving new meanings to existing theories.
The aim of this track is to start developing an organizational behavior community that addresses these new issues with a particular emphasis on European reality. We aim to develop an ongoing and constructive dialogue among OB researchers to increase our understanding and management of organizational behavior. The long-term goal of this track is to develop organizational behavior research that is relevant for management scholarship and practice in the contemporary world.
This track welcomes high-quality empirical and theoretical papers, which focus on the "micro" level OB phenomenon dealing with individual and small group behavior, as well as the more "macro" level elements dealing with organizational change and innovation. We encourage studies that adopt novel theoretical perspectives, use different research methods -quantitative, qualitative and multilevel methods-, and examine organizational behavior across different cultural contexts. The track offers Best Paper and Best Reviewer Awards.
Attached you can find the full description of the Track. The deadline for the submission of full papers is 17 January 2011 2:00 p.m. Brussels time. Guidelines for submission are below.
We are looking forward to receiving a lot of interesting submissions.
