Are you or do you know a junior faculty member, post-doc or senior doctoral student who could benefit from a PDW on academic careers? Diamonds in the Rough (DIR) is a part of the Managerial and Organizational Cognition (MOC) Division's "in the rough" PDW series and is focused on turning academic careers into gems. At DIR, budding scholars receive advice from top scholars on developing their research stream, avoiding career pitfalls, and excelling in academic careers. This is a great opportunity for both getting personalized advice and expanding one's network of junior and senior scholars.
Facilitators include: Tiziana Casciaro (University of Toronto), Erik Dane (Rice University), Marylène Gagné (Western Australia University), Andrew Knight (Washington University), Jeff Loewenstein (University of Illinois), Luis Martins (University of Texas), Sucheta Nadkarni (Cambridge University), William Ocasio (Northwestern University), Gerardo Okhuysen (University of California-Irvine), Kevin Rockmann (George Mason), David Sluss (Georgia Tech), Jeff Thompson (Brigham Young University), Dusya Vera (University of Houston).
