Navigating Qualitative Dissertations: Advice from the Experts
Friday, August 1 at 8:00 a.m. at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel
Are you incorporating qualitative methods into your dissertation research? If so, do you want...
· To ensure you are using qualitative methods appropriately in your research design?
· To maximize the publication potential of your dissertation before you begin collecting data?
· Guidance on analyzing or writing-up the qualitative data you have?
· Insight into how to approach the job market with a qualitative dissertation?
"Navigating Qualitative Dissertations: Advice from the Experts" is a three-hour workshop intended to provide doctoral candidates conducting dissertations incorporating qualitative methods (i.e., mixed-methods and purely qualitative dissertations) with focused feedback from experienced qualitative researchers. The session will include intimate, roundtable discussions customized to participants' dissertations and also address topics of broader interest to doctoral candidates conducting qualitative dissertations.
We are fortunate to have the following scholars with extensive qualitative methods experience: Blake Ashforth, Shelley Brickson, Kevin Corley, Kimberly Elsbach, Elaine Hollensbe, Jennifer Howard-Grenville, Jamie Ladge, Karen Locke, Mike Pratt, Kristie Rogers, Elizabeth Rouse, Scott Sonenshein, Heather Vough.
