Emotion and Cognition Special Interest Group (EAC SIG)

Dear colleagues

On behalf of myself and SIG Coordinator Elise Bausseron, I am delighted to inform you of the creation of the ANZAM Emotion and Cognition Special Interest Group (EAC SIG).

As part of the development of the EAC SIG, we are looking for a managerial and organizational cognition (MOC) expert to co-chair the SIG and who will be prepared to run a workshop on Australian Research in Emotion and Cognition at the next ANZAM conference in Hobart, Tasmania (4-6 December 2013 – see http://www.anzamconference.org/) where our SIG will be officially launched. Attendees will consist of both experienced organizational scholars and doctoral students who have a specific interest in emotion and cognition research and its implications for the workplace.

We would like to invite individuals who have published work in the area of MOC and who are currently involved in research on the topic. Note that we also welcome innovative research approaches that challenge the assumptions underlying existing literature.
