    The Center for Collaboration Science (CCS) at UNO seeks to hire a visiting
    research associate (“Post Doc”) in Psychology, Management, Information
    Systems, or related disciplines to collaborate on on-going research
    projects on collaboration and teamwork. Areas of interest include but are
    not limited to social & collaborative media, creativity in teams,
    leadership, group facilitation techniques, collaboration technologies, and
    collaboration engineering. This position will begin in Fall 2011.

    An ideal research associate will have interests and skills blending
    multiple disciplines. The candidate must have a PhD in I/O or Social
    Psychology, Information Systems, Organizational Behavior, Communication,
    Management or a related discipline, with an interest and research track in
    one or more of the areas mentioned above. We expect the research associate
    to be involved in current research carried out in the Center, as well as
    develop his/her own research program, and help in the development of
    additional grants for the Center. The position is for one year with the
    possibility of renewal.

    CCS is a unique interdisciplinary initiative involving about 20 faculty
    members from all six colleges of the University of Nebraska at Omaha that
    research theoretical foundations and practical applications of individual,
    group, organizational, and societal factors affecting groups of people
    working together toward a shared goal. The mission of the Center for
    Collaboration Science is as follows:
    - To create scientific knowledge by theory-based and empirically-grounded
    research on collaboration-related phenomena.
    - To use evidence-based practices to solve collaboration problems for
    groups, organizations, and society by designing and deploying solutions for
    collaborative needs.
    - To educate undergraduates, graduates, and professionals on collaboration
    concepts through university courses, academic and professional
    publications, seminars, certification, and professional training.
