Hi Lilunia -
Great question! The answer is definitely BOTH. While many in MOC do examine individual-level cognitions (such as the ones you described - and more), there is also interest in more macro topics, such as collective-level cognitions, organizational-level identity, and the cognitive "pillar" of institutional theory (just to name a few).
Anyone interested in cognition -- either micro, macro, or meso, are welcome in MOC!
Warm regards,
Mike Pratt
(Outgoing MOC Division Chair)

Hi List,
I have a question if you would be so kind as to help me:
The MOC division is about cognitions in organizations and managers,
correct? Such as dual-processing and implicit effects in the workplace,
etc? Someone told me it was more macro, and that the division focuses
mostly on the entire organization, instead of at the person level? From
the information provided on the AOM website, I could not discern the answer.
Thank you so much in advance for your answers!
Sincerely,
Lilunia
