    Apologies for cross-listing. This is a reminder that you only have about 3 weeks left to submit an abstract if you want to present your work at what is sure to be a fantastic research conference next summer. The POS research conference will be immediately preceding the IPPA World Congress on Positive Psychology, so you can attend two great conferences back to back. See the formal call posted below for the details.



    CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

    We invite you to submit an abstract for the 2015 Positive Organizational Scholarship Research Conference presented by the Michigan Ross Center for Positive Organizations. The event will be held at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida from June 23 at 4 PM - after dinner the evening of June 24. 

    The POS research conference is a biennnial event that features top scholars in the field of POS sharing and advancing qualitative and quantitative research. This year's sessions will be geared toward building the next generation of POS research, following our theme: Illuminating Research for a Positive Future. Also new this year, the conference will be immediately preceding the IPPA Fourth World Congress on Positive Psychology from June 25-28, which includes a fairly new Work and Organizations division (for more information on IPPA, see http://www.ippanetwork.com/draftwcpp2015/world-congress/).


    ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

    Opens: September 1, 2014
    Closes: December 1, 2014
    Notification of Acceptance: December 22, 2014 

    We invite you to submit a 1-page, single-space abstract for potential presentation. We ask that you classify your abstract in one of the 12 tracks below, to be curated by top scholars: 
    • Alternative Research Methods with Andrew Knight
    • Energy & Thriving with Christine Porath
    • Individual and Collective Strengths with Lea Waters 
    • Learning, Growth, and Resilience with Sally Maitlis
    • Mindfulness & Attention with Erik Dane
    • Positive Emotions with Barbara Fredrickson and Tanya Vacharkulksemsuk
    • Positive Change with Scott Sonenshein
    • Positive Meaning & Identity with Laura Morgan Roberts
    • Positive Relationships and Reciprocity with Emily Heaphy
    • Proactivity with Sharon Parker
    • Virtues, Ethics, & Prosocial Behavior with David Mayer
    • Wildcard session with Monica Worline

    Please submit abstracts to illuminatingresearch@umich.edu, including the names of all authors, by December 1.
