Hi MOC community,
Have you ever forwarded a call for papers to a doctoral student who you thought would benefit? Told a colleague they should really come to Cognition in the Rough? Posted something on LinkedIn about a friend's interesting new paper because you thought it deserved more attention? Good news - that basically already makes you an MOC ambassador.
This year we are building out the MOC Ambassador program, and we are looking for a diverse group of scholars (at all career stages and from all corners of our big-tent community - OB, OT, ENT, STR, and beyond) who want to help us amplify the great work already happening in the division.
What is an MOC Ambassador?
People who want to help MOC more purposefully do many things it already does - celebrating junior scholars, making our PDWs and small conferences run smoothly and feel more alive, welcoming new faces at the MOC social, and amplifying the work of award winners (among other things). There are no monthly meetings, no chair roles, no subcommittee on the subcommittee. The work is deliberately light and intentionally lumpy… a burst of activity here and there, with plenty of breathing room in between.
If this sounds like something you would like to help with, just shoot me an email and we will get you connected.
