As AI systems become embedded in organisational decision environments, an important question is emerging: how might intelligent systems reshape the cognitive conditions under which managers interpret information and make strategic decisions?
This issue is increasingly visible in discussions about AI adoption, human agency and decision capability in intelligent organisations.
To explore this emerging frontier, I will be organising a Special Session at WSAI 2026 under the theme:
Human-Centred AI Futures: Cognition, Agency and Decision-Making in Intelligent Systems.
The session is designed as an interdisciplinary forward-looking dialogue, inviting scholars to engage in a collective reflection on how AI may reshape human cognition, judgement and agency in future organisational systems.
