Assistant/Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour/Human Resource Management
The Melbourne Business School seeks to fill an Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management area. Applicants must have a PhD in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management or a related field, and must demonstrate the potential to publish in top academic journals and achieve excellence in teaching. Applications are open to all areas of Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management.
The position is located in the Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management cluster, which currently has 6 full-time academic faculty. The cluster has research strengths in three broad areas: leadership and ethics, organisational relationships, and workplace diversity. Members of the cluster have active research interests in authenticity, behavioural ethics, diversity, justice, leadership, negotiation, power and status, and teams. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to teach into the school's MBA degrees. There may also be opportunities to develop and teach content to audiences in the school's executive education program (short courses and custom solutions). The successful applicant will be expected to pursue excellence in teaching and a highly active research agenda. The School stresses quality rather than quantity of research. Therefore, preference is for faculty to publish in internationally recognised top tier journals.
