    📢 Call for Submissions

PDW: "Putting the World on Fire in the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning: The 3-Minute Paper Pitch" (AOM 2026)

    Illustrative cartoonDear colleagues,

We are delighted to invite submissions for an exciting Professional Development Workshop (PDW) at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting 2026, focused on advancing the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL) through a dynamic and engaging format.

    🌟 About the PDW

This PDW offers a unique opportunity for management education scholars to pitch their research in a concise, high-impact 3-minute format and receive developmental feedback from leading SoTL journal editors. The session is designed to be interactive, supportive, and developmental, helping scholars refine their ideas and enhance their chances of publication.

Selected finalists will present their work in front of editors from top SoTL journals, such as Academy of Management Learning & Education, Journal of Management Education, Management Learning, and the British Journal of Management, followed by roundtable discussions and live editorial feedback.

We invite scholars at all ranks to submit a 3-minute video pitch of their research. Your pitch should clearly address:

    1. The SoTL phenomenon or topic
    2. Why it is interesting
    3. Why it is important
    4. What the contribution is (i.e., how it advances understanding of SoTL)
