Dear AOM Colleagues,
The Trump Administration's assault on academic freedom is a direct threat to the members of the Academy of Management. This includes the threat of violent detention or
denied entry based on ideological discrimination. While the legal situation is fluid and highly uncertain
, non-US citizen scholars based in the US may be at serious risk of detention and/or denied reentry upon returning for the upcoming 2025 AOM conference in Copenhagen.
I've created a call-to-action that I am asking you to sign, to implore the AOM Board of Directors to take swift action to protect scholars who may be at serious risk if they travel internationally for AOM. You can find a link to the petition below, and therein you'll find a link to sign.
