Hi everyone
Instats is excited to offer a free seminar, Behavioral Science of LLMs, livestreaming on October 3rd and led by Antonios Stamatogiannakis from IE Business School, IE University. As generative AI redefines research workflows, this workshop investigates a pivotal question: do Large Language Models replicate, distort, or invert the well-documented heuristics and biases that shape human judgment? Through a blend of decision-theory grounding, ten controlled experiments, and hands-on sessions with a custom GPT application, participants will explore four distinct deviation patterns-bias attenuation, bias amplification, reversed biases, and temporal/model inconsistency-while mastering reproducible methods for prompt design, data logging, and statistical analysis. The seminar equips PhD students, academics, and professional researchers with concrete skills to design rigorous LLM-versus-human studies, critically evaluate claims of "human-like" AI, and translate findings into publishable research, managerial insights, and policy recommendations.
Sign up today and share this free opportunity with colleagues and students who want to stay at the forefront of behavioral science and AI!
Best wishes
