I'm seeking advance readers for The Cage and the Mirror, releasing January 2026.

The book argues that organizations systematically destroy their own capabilities through structural forces rather than management failures. Drawing on Shannon's information theory, Gödel's incompleteness theorems, Crawford-Sobel signaling models, and Delaware corporate jurisprudence, it examines how the compression of human judgment into legible metrics - necessary for scale - inevitably discards the variance that enabled excellence.

The framework distinguishes between the "Cage" (the structural constraints imposed by fiduciary duty, principal-agent dynamics, and formal system limitations) and the "Mirror" (the capacity for external perspective that allows navigation within those constraints).

I'm a practitioner, not an academic - two decades in software architecture and engineering leadership - writing from inside the institutions I'm describing. The theoretical apparatus is borrowed; the application is original.

Looking for readers willing to exchange an early PDF for honest feedback and, if warranted, an Amazon review around launch. Emphasis on honest. I'd rather learn what's broken than collect endorsements.
