Marriott – Salon C
We're delighted to host the PDW "Leadership, Followership, and Identity: Developing Research and Practice" at the 86th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Philadelphia. We invite scholars at all career stages to join us for an engaging and interactive workshop exploring the latest research on leadership, followership, and identity. Participants are also invited to submit a short working paper to receive developmental feedback from leading researchers in the field.
Purpose and Structure
This PDW aims to stimulate the next generation of leadership, followership, and identity scholarship by fostering new ideas, meaningful collaborations, and research that informs leadership development practice.
The workshop consists of three parts:
1. Plenary session featuring an introduction from the organizers, presentations by three distinguished keynote speakers, and introductions to six discussion themes.
2. Interactive small-group discussions centered on the six themes, providing opportunities for scholarly exchange, networking, and collaboration.
3. Paper development and idea development roundtables, where participants can receive developmental feedback on submitted working papers or discuss emerging research ideas and potential collaborations.
The PDW is open to all Academy of Management attendees. You are welcome to participate whether or not you submit a working paper.
