Dear colleagues,
With the extension of the 7th World Symposium on Artificial Intelligence (WSAI 2026, June 24–26, Jinan, China) timeline, it creates an opportunity to revisit a question situated within the emerging discussion on human-centred AI futures:
How does the timing of AI input influence cognitive framing in early-stage decision processes?
While much of the current discussion focuses on AI capabilities, less attention has been given to how the presence of AI systems may shape how individuals construct and revise their understanding of emerging ideas.
At early stages, where cognitive representations are still forming, the timing of AI interaction may influence interpretation itself.
This aligns with a broader shift toward understanding how AI environments reshape judgement, attention, and decision-making - not only through outputs, but through their interaction with human cognition.
