We have several exciting events coming up for AMD. Please consider participating and / or helping to spread the word!
- AMD Registered Reports hybrid workshop - Jan 3, 2023
On Jan 3 we will be hosting a hybrid workshop inviting registered report abstracts (the onsite portion will be in Tel Aviv as part of the Israel OB Conference). A registered report is a submission that includes the front end (i.e., introduction, methods, and analysis plan) of a planned or completed study, but not the results or discussion section. Such reports are evaluated on the basis of the importance of the topic, the merit of the selected analytic approach, methodological rigor and quality, and consistency with the editorial mission of AMD. We are looking to publish a number of these as a result of this workshop. Deadline for submissions is Dec 1.
- Pre-submission hybrid workshop - AMD Sport Data Special Research Forum - Dec 2, 2022
Paolo Aversa and Dmitri Sharapov, two of our AMD guest editors, will be hosting a workshop at Bayes Business School (City, University of London) for those interested in sending papers to the AMD Special Research Forum titled: A Whole Different Ball Game-Exploring the Modern Organizational Context Through the Lens of Sports. The workshop can be attended in-person or remotely, but access is restricted to scholars who are able to submit a short paper or full paper they are intending for the Special Research Forum. Deadline for submissions is Nov 22.
- AMJ, AMR, and AMD workshop at the Africa Academy of Management. - Jan 10, 2023
We will be co-hosting a paper development workshop with AMJ and AMR as part of the Africa Academy of Management biennial conference in Cairo, Egypt.
