Efforts to tackle societal challenges can succeed if we harness the power of enterprise (venture) with the scale and purpose of government (mission). There is an emerging discussion in the management literature on how best to conceive and structure these public-private partnerships in innovative and agile ways. In this session, we explore the power of partnerships (SDG 17) and various models of public-private collaborative arrangements that can become useful tools to address problems that face local communities, national development agendas, and global grand challenges.
