    Call for Chapter Contributors

    New Springer Edited Volume

    Dear respected colleagues,

Greetings, and wishes for ongoing wellness!

I am inviting you to consider submitting a chapter title and abstract toward possible inclusion in the following forthcoming edited collection, to be published by Springer with the tentative title:

INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP FOR BOUND-LESS WORK ENVIRONMENTS - STRATEGIES AND TOOLS FOR CHANGE

    Orientation:

With all the ethical, political, global, environmental, and ideological challenges we are facing these days, there is a different type of approach needed: a form of leadership for ourselves and others, that will safeguard our wellbeing, as well as the sustainment of our beloved home: Planet Earth. Many futurists have predicted that this will most likely be our last century as a species on this earth, and even if we're not paranoid by nature, none of us could have missed the writings on the wall. With examples such as the many endangered or already extinct species; the threat of more plastic than fish in our oceans; global warming and melting ice, and the replication of DNA for undoubtedly laudable, yet not completely harmless reasons in a world that is already over populated, this collective work could be used as an insightful roadmap for professionals who seek guidance in leadership performance. At the same time, this professional work could be used as a foundational or supplementary work in education by those professors (like the author) who increasingly deviate from conventional textbooks in their courses.

This new volume will focus on the need for leaders in personal and professional realms, for-profit and non-profit, to understand the importance of innovative thinking in order to achieve more responsible progress, safeguard sustainability, and achieve enhanced satisfaction and motivation among stakeholders. This can only happen through an augmented level of design thinking, which will lead to increased innovation, and thus, future-oriented leadership.

In order to make this a profound work consisting of divergent viewpoints, it is the intention to build this collective volume on a wide range of existing leadership literature, yet, not exclude studies performed by the contributing authors.
