The Department of Language and Communication, University of Southern Denmark (SDU) invites applications for a 3-year postdoctoral research position starting 1 May 2022. The deadline for applications is 17 November 2021.
The position is embedded in the externally funded research project "Determinants of Resilience in Organizational Networks" (DRONe) which investigates how cognitive attitudes amongst employees in the largest Danish utility company enable resilience to innovative technologies. Methodologically, the candidate must be able to conduct an extensive ethnographical study of the workplace dynamics in the utility company combined with interviews and surveys.
We are seeking a highly motivated and strongly independent researcher with a Ph.D. in the areas of cognitive science, science and technology studies, organization theory, organizational behavior, social anthropology or related areas. The candidate must have experience with ethnographic fieldwork, and should be able to engage with theories of organizational cognition, distributed cognition, practice theory, and science and technology studies.
