AOM PDW "Exploring the Research Frontier on Individual Responses to Organizational Change"

There has never been a more pressing moment to examine the responses of individuals to organizational change. This PDW aims to bring together scholars of micro approaches to the study of organizational change in a virtual session about the current and future directions in the study of responses to change. Specifically, we wish to discuss extant knowledge and ignite an active dialogue with the broader community, in the aim of pushing the boundaries of change research. This session also allows for meaningful connections to be forged between panelists and participants. The session consists of two parts:

    1. In the first part, panelists will present brief summaries of their perspective on the current state of the change literature, followed by an interactive Q&A session. Drawing on these discussions, we hope to derive an agenda for future theory building and empirical research on individuals' responses to organizational change.
    2. In the second part of this workshop, panelists and junior researchers will be grouped on the basis of shared interests to discuss selected research projects. Panelists will act as facilitators and provide feedback on submitted work. Pre-submitted extended abstracts should be related to the workshop theme. They can pertain to research at various stages of development (e.g., method design, data collection, etc.).

If you are interested in participating in the second part (paper development), please submit your extended abstract (instructions below) by email to katerina.gonzalez@suffolk.edu no later than July 29, 2020. Note that participating only in the first part of the PDW is permissible.
