JOB SUMMARY
We are recruiting for an outstanding and collegial assistant professor in Management for the School of Information Systems and Management (SISM) in the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida (USF). USF is a Preeminent Research University situated in the vibrant and diverse Tampa Bay region, with campuses in Tampa (largest), St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee. This position will be located on the Tampa campus. Responsibilities will include conducting top-quality research and teaching courses in Organizational Behavior and/or Human Resources (OB/HR). Service activities that support the missions of USF, the Muma College of Business, and the Tampa Bay community will be appreciated. The Tampa Bay region is the 18th largest metropolitan area in the US, and faculty in the Muma College of Business are actively engaged with the local community. Before the start of employment (Fall semester of 2022), Candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Management, or a related discipline including but not limited to Business, Psychology, or Sociology.
Our management faculty members' research appears in leading journals such as those found in the University of Texas Dallas (UTD) or Financial Times Top 50 (FT50) journal lists, such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Information Systems, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. degree from an accredited institution, in the discipline of Management or a related discipline including but not limited to Business, Psychology, or Sociology
Evidence of the ability to produce high-quality research targeted at UTD24 (https://jsom.utdallas.edu/the-utd-top-100-business-school-research-rankings/) /FT50 journals (https://www.ft.com/content/3405a512-5cbb-11e1-8f1f-00144feabdc0) through publications or papers (one or more) in advanced rounds of review (demonstrated through review report) at these journals.
A demonstrated record of achievement in teaching via teaching evaluations whenever such information is available
Evidence of the ability to meet and sustain AACSB faculty qualification requirements
The ability to teach core and elective courses in Organizational Behavior and/or Human Resources at the undergraduate and/or Master's level
