The DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in the Human Resources and Management area. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting qualitative field research on topics related to careers, work, organizations and inequality, and will work closely with Dr. Erin Reid as part of the Careers and Inequality Lab. The postdoctoral fellow will also teach one course per academic year. The successful candidate is expected to maintain an on-campus presence at McMaster University for the duration of the appointment and be an active participant in the school community.
Applicants should have or be near completion of their PhD degree in a related area of organizational studies, management, organizational behavior or sociology. Applicants are expected to have experience with qualitative research methods. The PhD must be completed before the appointment's start date. The anticipated start date is May 2025 for a one-year term with anticipation of renewal for a second year. The start date is flexible.
