    The Department of Management & Organization at the University of Washington in Seattle invites applications for one full-time tenure eligible Assistant Professor for the 2023-2024 academic year, with an anticipated start date of September 16, 2023.  Assistant Professors have an annual service period of nine months. University of Washington faculty members engage in research, teaching, and service. Priority application deadline is Sunday, September 18, 2022.

    The successful candidates will perform research in micro subject areas, which may include organizational behavior and human resource management. Teaching responsibilities will focus on organizational behavior, human resource management, leadership, ethics, teams, etc.

    Candidates must have or be nearing completion of a PhD or foreign equivalent in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or other related field.  A qualified candidate may be considered for temporary appointment as an Acting Assistant Professor, pending PhD, with conversion to appointment Assistant Professor after degree conferral if the terminal degree has not been conferred by the position start date.
